Drilling Detergent

1. It is an ionic non foam alkaline detergent.
2. It is used for cleaning the drilling aggregates.(and the drill bit)
3. It has a very high dispersing power.
4. It has no corrosive action on steel pipes, cutting tools and drill bits
5. It may help in decreasing water loss
6. It has some lubricating effect
7. It has no harmful effect on the environment and is completely safe on the drilling team during and after using.
8. It prevents formation of air bubbles and accordingly do not cause any pressure on the formation
9. It is rich in sodium ions (Na⁺) which may improves mud properties by replacing Calcium ions (Ca⁺⁺) if present.
10. It removes oil from the formation and drilling equipments.
11. It is effective in fresh or hard water and saturated brine water.
